A cuff that fits your arm is part of a repeatable reading. Measure around your upper arm and use this guide as a quick starting point before checking the manufacturer's instructions.

Find a starting cuff size

Measure around the middle of your bare upper arm, then compare the result with the cuff label and your monitor's instructions.

Small adult	17–22 cm
Adult	22–32 cm
Large adult	32–42 cm
Extra-large adult	42–52 cm

Ranges vary by manufacturer. If your measurement is on a boundary, use the cuff's own range and ask a pharmacist or clinician to check the fit.
